Bored? No, Board!

I don't think I've let you know I'm a CPC board member? Quite cool - I used to be a volunteer there many moons ago, and though I didn't have the emotional stamina to keep that up along with youth care. But I've kept loving the place and supporting it as well as I could. I don't know when, but at some point it occurred to me that maybe I would be a board member some day. Some day - way off (I don't know - I think of board members as being at least 45). Then one day I dropped off old baby clothes and mat clothes at CPC (did I mention we are DONE having kids?) and the director asked me if I'd be interested. Further talking, meeting and it just seemed very God, very timely. I'm finally at a place in my life where I'm seeing how to best use my gifts to serve, and this is an opportunity to serve in a capacity that suits who I am and the amount of time I can give realistically.
