Is it leadership or just regular crazy?
You gotta read today's Dilbert. (If you don't read it today, you'll have to go to the Past strips link and click on today's date.)
Oh, how true. I actually have been blessed with some great supervisors, but there are so many other times when I wonder, "How do these people get their jobs?" Psychopaths do great on executive job interviews (true story - it was in a Free Press article a while back)
I love the manager I work with the most (technically no longer my supervisor as I am self- employed) but when i have to work with some others - whoo boy. Super-sensitive, married to bureacracy, judgemental, unable to decide or move a project along, inability to approach someone directly, playing favorites - this is what I've seen a lot of.
