Good news on the what does my future hold front
Today I got a letter letting me know that the Faculty to which I applied to do my Master's degree is recommending me to the Faculty of Graduate studies to begin my Masters this fall. I.e. step 1 of the 2 step process. Hard to say how it goes from here - is it more rubber stamping whatever the first Faculty says, or is there another process I have to pass?
Time will tell.

That is really exciting.
I would love to get my masters someday...but for now...things will remain as they are..
