New job

I was offerred the position I referred to earlier and accepted it. I start as soon as my criminal record check is available. I am feeling a mix of emotion. I'm relieved that I will soon have an income again. However, compared to my work over the last year I will have longer hours, less money and more stress. It is term for 5 months, possibly longer. I will be working with an employment program for people with mental illness.

I have a friend in Alberta who's done that for years.

Congrats on your new income and growth opportunity! May it be all that God intends it to be in your life - and may you be able to return swiftly to the type of work which brings you joy as well as life.

A job for which your marriage has made you uniquely qualified :)

That sounds like a challenging job.
Do you enjoy challenges?

I enjoy challenges. I loathe impossibilities. Sometimes impossibilities call themselves challenges, the dirty liars. That creates overwhelming stress. That's why I'm glad this is term - it gives me a chance to figure out which one it is.
