Price of almond milk
With almonds going for $1.49 per 100 grams (Bulk Barn) the cost of making our own almond milk was $3.73 for 2 litres.
The "waste" product (leftover paste after filtering) can also be used in smoothies and yogurt in small amounts.

Correction: The Bulk Barn sells almonds for $2 something. I think I say that almond price at that Health Food store in McIvor mall.
