Taryn's teacher upon meeting her: "She's really quiet, isn't she?"
Ashlin's nursery school teacher after the first day: "She's very well-spoken."
These of course, are instead of:
"Has this kid been severely traumatized and will she ever respond to me with more than a nod?" and "She never shut her pie-hole the entire 2 and a half hours."
