Flu stats

I just found this article on US flu death statistics. While it was posted on an anti-vac site, it is from the British Medical Journal. It shows that stats on flu deaths are inflated by lumping them with deaths from pnemonia where people may have developed pnemonia as a complication of the flu.

I wonder if Canada's stats are any better?
