The grands told the kids they wanted to take them to the Hi Neighbour Festival like they did last year (Transcona's annual parade, carnival, etc.). Ashlin was trying to remember it, and then she asked, "Is that a condition?"
Not sure how to answer. I asked her what she thought a condition was. She couldn't say at first. Then a little while later I heard her say "A condition is something that happens every year."
Aaaah. TRAdition. Gotcha, babe.
That day Taryn also had her first music recital. I was so proud, seeing her play her 10 second song. Beautiful.

it does the heart good, don't it?
Hi, I've commented on your last two blogs before this one. I've been blocked out of the blogging world for a while, but I'm back. It is so good that kids try out their new words on us before they use them on the rest of the world.
Yeah, especially the ones like *&%$#!!! which Taryn was saying to herself in the mirror one day.
I can just imagine the Fiddler on the Roof singing...
*CON-Dition! Con-Diiiiii-tion!
Condition!*
