More?

I've been thinking about some posts where people have written about wanting more from God. That seems to be something present in charismatic circles especially. We say it in lots of prayers and sing it in lots of songs.

I'm tired of looking for more. I love that line from an 80s Steve Taylor song: "Since I gave up hope, I feel a lot better."

I'm really skeptical about more. Here are my more questions:

What if there is no more?
What if the people who have told us about more were either lying or deluded?
What if there is more, but it's not what we think it is and we don't get it how we think we do?
