3 year old frankness

Middle child spent quite a bit of time with Grandma H. yesterday. Mom told me that at one point Ash was talking to her about Grandpa, and clarified, "Not the dead one." Then later I overheard Mom say that Grandpa is with Jesus now, and Ash exclaimed, "Jesus is in the gwound?"

For some reason, my Mom, who gets upset about nearly everything, doesn't get at all unnerved by these Ashisms. It actually seems to help her when she explains things to Ash.
