I know that most of the reader of this blog do not know who the above two people are, so I'll take a minute here to explain. Shelley is a friend from college, also in social work. She is a great friend, intelligent, thoughtful, warm and kind. I have thought for a long time that she is one of those women who, when I get to know them I think, Isn't there a guy around who sees how wonderful she is? What is wrong with the male population? Why is she single?

But God's timing is good timing. Shelley meets Dennis. Man and woman fall in love. Man asks woman to marry him. Woman says yes.
