intermitant strabismus

That is the term for what my son appears to have. His eyes wander. Sometimes he'll look up at me and one eye will be on me and the other will be looking off to the side.
The good news: MB covers children's eye exams. I did not know this up until this week.
I don't know if there is bad news. I'll wait until I find out more about what could possibly be causing this. I'm not too worried. Both my eyes will wander if I'm not wearing glasses or a contact lens, depending on the distance I'm looking at. But I am a little worried, wondering if this is an indication of an underlying, more serious problem.
